GAMMA-RADIATION RADIONUCLIDES AND 3T CONTENT INVESTIGATION IN RUSSIAN NPP REGIONS ENVIRONMENT
To estimate the environmental
effect of (nuclear power plant) NPP (both in operation and in
design) information is highly needed about radioactive wastes
and natural radionuclides in environmental objects. Such information
can be received in the context of NPP region radiation monitoring.
Operating and designed NPP region
nature objects samples (these nature objects are to be under research
in the context of radiation situation monitoring) are subdivided
into surface, aquatic and agricultural produce samples.
Surface samples include:
- On layer at a time ground samples with depth
step between 1 and 3 cm (depth up to 30 cm).
- Cultivated ground layer with depth up to
30 cm.
- Surface vegetation.
- Litter, humus layer.
- Fallen needle, leaves, branches.
- Sorption filters.
Aquatic samples include:
- On layer at a time ground sediments with
depth step between 3 and 5 cm (depth up to 30 cm).
- Ground sediments surface layer with depth
up to 5 cm..
- Aquatic vegetation.
- Fish and mollusk muscles, skin, scales and
internal organs.
- Sorption and ion-change filters.
Agricultural produce samples include:
- Leguminous plants samples.
- Vegetable samples.
- Meat and milk produce samples.
- Bakery produce samples..
